Who am I?

Family: I live in Woodfield with my husband, 4 kids and our cat! My kids range from 5 to 17 so I have all the different stages at once!

The Best Thing About Living here: I love the majestic tree-lined streets that run through my neighbourhood, the stately old homes, and the eclectic mix of people who call Woodfield home. It's a community within a city! I also love how easy it is to walk or bike to most things I need and that I can find the most unique, locally owned shops just up the street.

Favourite Restaurant: Dolcetto

Hobbies and favourite things to do: Travelling! I love to meet people from all different backgrounds and hear their stories. Also, I love the heat so anywhere that warms me up over the winter is a welcome change from Canadian Winters.

Dream vacation: New Zealand

Other than a family member, dead or alive, who would you like to have dinner with?: I would love to sit down with the founder of Patagonia, Yvon Chouinard. The morals and ethics of Patagonia have always been an inspiration to me - not only for the thoughtfulness they put into their products, but also for the respect they show to their employees and the earth. They are are shining example for how businesses can be a force for good in the world at a time when billionaires and the exploitation of workers and planet are top of mind for so many.
