Who am I?

Family: After parenting for 30+ years, I'm almost at the finish line of the teenage years. I have one son jumping into wedded bliss shortly and another gearing up for university at UWO. My daughter has numerous interests and she keeps me on my toes. My teenagers keep me young and I appreciate having social media gurus at my fingertips.

What do you like about living in the area? I grew up in Thornhill just north of Toronto and came to London to attend UWO. I vividly recall my first visit back home and how much it made me appreciate the slower pace and friendliness of London; being let in driving was a huge bonus too. London caters to sports lovers as well as to the arts and has many options to be in nature. It's also a quick drive to Toronto or into the States and has easy access to many airports.

Favourite Restaurants: The Keg and Kelsey's are my go-to's but I'm always up for trying somewhere new. I often prefer my own cooking, just not the cleanup.

Hobbies and favourite things to do: I'm always up for figuring out how something is repaired or made. I enjoy home improvements and repairs, gardening, baking custom cakes and sugar cookies, and generally crafting. I also like to kayak and love to travel and have new experiences both big and small.

Dream Vacation: I've always wanted to go to Holland, Tuscany and on a safari. An overwater bungalow in Bora Bora sounds amazing too. Travel in general is my dream.

Other than a family member, dead or alive, who would you like to have dinner with? If I could bring back my friend Lynn so she could have the chance to enjoy one more dinner that's what I'd do.
